We are available any time during our normal business hours, Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am-4:30 pm and Friday from 8:00 am-4:00 pm, to answer your questions. Any licensed physician can call himself or herself a cosmetic surgeon, so the importance of finding a properly trained, board certified provider is very important. Plastic Surgery is a body of knowledge encompassing amongst other things, Cosmetic Surgery. Many doctors today experiment in the field of Cosmetic Surgery. The bottom line is that residency-trained Plastic Surgeons - those that have completed a Plastic Surgery Residency - have been thoroughly and properly trained how to do Cosmetic Surgery. Those in other specialties may perform the procedure(s), but their training may be not be adequate.
